Graduation 2018

Forty-one students (41), thirty-eight (38) of whom did the course for credits (completion) and four (4) for audits (participation) graduated.
Our primary reference materials were:
1. A book from Dr. George Eldon Ladd – “The Kingdom of God.”
2. Reading of St. Matthew’s Gospel, three (3) chapters weekly.
3. It was a mandatory classroom of one and a half hour video lectures by Prof. Gary Matsdorf.
4. We had a paper included from Rev. Jack Hayford. “The messages Christ preaches.
This 10 week Training Course has been spiritually, socially, emotionally, and psychologically transformational, for all the students including myself, and by extension the whole Church. We all now have a more expansive in depth and theological understanding of the “The Kingdom of God,” what it means and what it represents to the Church of God.

This awesome inspiring teaching by Ladd on the Kingdom, has brought light and glory where there has been gross darkness, in this evil age. Ladd asked the question “Does mankind have a destiny”? Jesus himself came saying to a sinful world. “Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand” (St. Matthew 4:17) His focus was primarily on the Kingdom of God even inviting it’s coming in the Lord’s Prayer.

Dr. Ladd tells us that the Kingdom of God belongs to the present as well as the future, it is here presently and it is also to come. The concept of the Kingdom of God is primarily the rule, the reign and the Government of God. This Governmental rule is God’s sovereignty in action in the hearts and lives of His Church, and covers the whole world. God’s Sovereign reign is manifested in several realms. The Gospel of the Kingdom speaks of entering the Kingdom of God both today and tomorrow, no other religion can boost of this power of reign. The Christian Church has been given both the power, the theology and the tools to dominate the whole world through

We are God’s emissaries and we are assured as we lay hold on God’s word that our God will someday rule over all.

The Demands of the Kingdom, has created a paradigm shift for me. I am admonished that I must be willing to give up all, for the Kingdom and that the Kingdom of God is first in all things.

I have come to realize that I must carry my cross, which is an instrument of death, and that there can only be one ruler in my life, that is Jesus Christ. When I take up my cross and die, (Christ can rule) and I can become a true and worthy Emissary of the Kingdom of God which is now in this age and in the age to come. The writings of Dr. George Eldon Ladd has given me the tools to be able to live as a true Kingdom Emissary and to impart this to his people of the Kingdom, to whom God has given me the charge to pastor.
