ARM STATEMENT OF FAITH cont:

h) Baptism in the Holy Spirit and Fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus to those who are believers (Luke Chapter 24:49, Mathew Chapter 3:36, Acts Chapter 1:4-8)

i) The great commission;- i.e. Evangelism of the world and its discipleship with signs, wonders and miracles following (Mark Chapter 16:17-20, Mathew Chapter 28:16-20)

j) The Doctrine of Sanctification; - as a definite, yet progressive work of grace. (Hebrews Chapter 13:14, I Thessalonians Chapter 5:23, 2Corinthians 2:18, Philippians Chapter 3:2, I Corinthians 1:30)

k) The Divine Healing;- of human body as wrought by the power of God through the prayer of Faith and by lying on of hands (Mark Chapter 16:18, James Chapter 5:14-16, I Peter Chapter 2:24, Mathew Chapter 8:17)

l) The resurrection of the dead;- the eternal happiness of the redeemed and the eternal punishment of the wicked (I Thessalonians Chapter 4:16-17)

m) The imminent;- personal and bodily return of the Lord Jesus (Acts Chapter 1:11)

n) We believe in "Divine Miracles";- March Chapter 16:17,20 Isaiah Chapter 8:18)

o) We believe in Marriage as a divine institution. In case of death free to remarry but only in Christ. The Bible sets the standards in case of need for divorce.

p) Sin; - We believe that sin separates man from God, we avoid it and we do not believe in whatever leads man to sin.

q) Child Dedication; - We believe in dedicating babies and children to God in Church. We don't believe in Baptizing babies or children under age of according to the word of God. (I Samuel Chapter 1:20, Mathew Chapter 19:13-14, Mark Chapter 10:13, Luke Chapter 2:22)

r) Hell and Eternal retribution;- The one who physically dies in his sins without accepting Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire on judgment day and therefore has no further opportunity of learning the gospel or repenting.

s) The lake of fire is literal;- The terms "eternal" and "everlasting" used in describing the duration of the punishment of the dammed in the lake of fire carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence of God ( Hebrews Chapter 10:2-7, Revelation Chapter 19:20).

t) Night prayer services;- We believe and practice regular night prayer services; open air crusades; evangelical rallies; festivals and conferences that are characterized by the gift of high praise and worship both in our churches and in the open space.

u) Fellowship;- We believe in fellowshipping with all sound Christian believers and churches who are contending for the love of God and principles of Christ as revealed in the Holy Bible. However, we cannot and will not endorse or approve but resist radical teachings that tend to divide the body of Christ.

v) Christian morals;- We believe that we must firmly stand against and denounce homosexuality, adultery, and sexual perversion, scientific interference with natural human progeny, same-sex marriages, lesbianism and other unnatural, and uncouth human behaviors as a way of life or practice. Against pornography, gambling, drug use and partaking of intoxicants, physical abuse, Satanism, cultism or divination in any form.

w) Biblical Principles; - We believe in all other teachings, doctrines, principles and standards in the Holy Bible, as interpreted by the APOSTOLIC RESTORATION MISION (ARM). We further stand by the word of God against behaviours and offences such as: Idolatry, Immorality, sodomy, bestiality, covetousness, railing, drunkardness, smoking of any nature, extortions, disorderly conduct, divisionary, sectarianism, unforgiving attitude, lies, cheating, contempt of established leadership, false witness, rebellion and incest and other such immoral behaviours as may be interpreted from time to time.
