Operation Solid Lives teams visits Mount Zion's Mission, Barbados, in April 2018.

Welcome Pastor Harlyn and Jeri Matson from 180 Church, Bob & Karen Brockway and Roberta Collins.
This being the first visit to our beautiful island home of Barbados it was an honour to take them around and show them the wonderful diversity of Barbados.
From the rugged north coast to the crashing Atlantic on the east coast a stark contrast to the calm, tropical west coast.
They visited Harrison's Caves in the heart of the island and couldn't miss out on a little shopping!

OSL

OSL is a system that takes people through teaching you to read the Bible, to hear from God. To be mature believers that follow after Christ. OSL changes even mature Christians. Joshua was instructed to meditate on the Word and keep it in his heart then God would make him successful and prosperous. (Joshua 1:8)
OSL will change you within weeks you will see a change. The Bible says that the Word will transform our mind. Our goal is to get you established and take it into other Caribbean islands. Out of this will come a strong OSL movement in Barbados, a centre of discipleship, we are believing from Barbados OSL will spread throughout the Caribbean. God is not looking at my ability He is looking at my availability. Matt 28: 19-20 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” How do we do this? How do we fulfill the Great Commission and rais up men and women who become close followers of Jesus, who then become Disciples Makers? This is where OSL comes in. OSL is a highly effective and proven system of discipleship that has been written, tested and refined – time and again for 20 years. OSL is designed to saturate students with the Word of God, drawing them into a deeper relationship with Jesus. Luke 6: 46-48 46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? 47 As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. 48 They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. |
