GOSHEN AFRICA - Malawi

The Goshen Africa Group is an African chain of companies established to create new African Developments around Lake Victoria and Lake Malawi.

Lake Malawi, also known as Lake Nyasa in Tanzania and Lago Niassa in Mozambique, is an African Great Lake and the southernmost lake in the East African Rift system, located between Malawi, Mozambique and Tanzania.

The Goshen Africa Group will establish a range of Lakeside Boutique Missions Hotel Resorts, Luxury Lakeside Glamping Resorts, Eco Glamping Resorts, Agro Glamping Resorts on agriculture land in our Moringa Estate and Quinoa Plantation.

Phase #1 - a Lodge/Campsite is for sale in Chitimba, Northern/Rumphi Malawi, on the Northern shores of Lake Malawi. Chitimba is a village situated 90km south of the Malawi/Tanzania border Karong. The lodge is set on a beautiful golden sand beach, amongst banana palms and papaya trees, surrounded by the famous Livingstonia and Nyika mountains, ideal for our Goshen Lakeside Glamping Resort.

Another property has been identified a spectacular campsite, cafe and abseiling business for sale. There are approximately 25 acres of indigenous forest. The business is well established business over six years with fantastic write ups in the backpacker guides. From every aspect of the property there are spectacular views across Lake Malawi to Tanzania. Ideal for our Goshen Eco Glamping Resort. 7 acres will be reserved for our Drop of Hope Project. Many of our Drop of Hope projects will be located next to or close to local schools, churches or our Goshen Glamping Resorts. On visiting one of our many Glamping Resorts missionaries will find there will be a variety of different 'Ministry' opportunities for these young missionaries to get involved in various activities

Phase #1 will connect to Phase #2 in the South of Lake Malawi via our Goshen and ABCD Headquarters at Kachere Kastle, a four hour drive south along Lake Malawi or a ferry ride to our base in Central Lake Malawi.

Kachere Kastle, the most iconic building in Northern Malawi. Sitting on 110m of perfect beach front, it makes an impressive sight. It rests in four acres of private estate. Currently the building is a hotel business, a limited company. It would also work well as a headquarters for an NGO or company,
One acre to the north and one acre to the south of the 4 acre Kastle estate will be earmarked for two small lakeside glamping areas, each housing 14 tents on their decks or platforms.

Phase #2 - The Goshen Mission Holidays or Voluntary Vacations South Lake Malawi will range from:
Lakeside Boutique Missions Hotel Resort
Luxury Lakeside Glamping Resort
Agro Glamping Resort
Drop of Hope Project
Food for Life with food processing factory
Agricultural Training Centre
Friendly Farm and AgroPhotoVoltaics
60 acres Quinoa Plantation
ABCD- Child Care and Women’s Empowerment Centre

Food for Life products such as Quinoa, Moringa, all our Hydroponic dried food and dried Goji berries from Southern Lake Malawi will travel on MV Ilala ferry, the main means of water transport around lake Malawi from Senga Bay in the south to Chizumulu in the north of Lake Malawi.
The ferry carries both passenger and freight vessel.

These will be stored in our Warehouses prior to 'Packing Parties' in schools to create our dried Food for Life Africa packs. This presents enormous ministry opportunities for our Food For Life Africa and Drop of Hope School Project.
